Lori Solondz is a multidisciplinary artist.

She studied at Cranbrook Academy of Art , MFA, Minneapolis College of Art , BFA and MICA.

In 1985, after a residency at the Karolyi Foundation in the south of France, she moved her studio practice to Paris where she lived and worked for thirty years. She recently returned to New York .

Approaching her work as a lifelong experiment; she examines the relationship between object and perception, process and narrative and how, together, they weave the outcome.
Her work is an act of personal expression, often influenced by nature and observation, yet informed by making.

She has participated in numerous residencies and exhibitions.
